Platinum 'Miyuki' Medaka (Oryzias latipes) is a stunning variety of Japanese rice fish prized for its luminous platinum-white body with a subtle iridescent blue sheen. Growing up to 4 cm, these fish are perfect for nano tanks, planted aquariums or outdoor tubs.

Appearance & Behavior
Peaceful, ideal for community tanks. Males exhibit more intense colour females are rounder during breeding. Schooling nature – best kept in groups of 6 or more.

• Tank size: minimum 20 L for a small group
• Temperature: 12-24 °C can be kept at room temperature no heater necessary  
• pH: 6.5-8.0; water moderately soft to moderately hard
• Diet: omnivore – accept good quality flakes / micro-pellets, live/frozen foods like baby brine shrimp, daphnia
• Decor: fine-leaved plants, floating plants, gentle water flow, shaded spots for rest
