Ancistrus Sp: Comes from the rivers and tributaries of South America.

Care level: Easy, peaceful well suited to a community aquarium, needs wood in the tank to graze on and some caves to hide. 

pH: 6.5 to 7.5

Temperature: 23°C to 27°C

Water hardness: GH: 3-8 dGH (or 54-144 ppm) KH : 3-10 dKH (or 54-180 ppm) 

Diet: Will eat a variety of foods. The main diet should be algae wafers and vegetables these especially like canned greenbeans also supplement with flake food, spirulina flakes are best and some frozen food/freeze dried.

Tank size: 20 gallon minimum 30 gallon+ is preferred.
